Bungalow Bills was established in 1990 at the intersection of Symonds Street, Mt Eden Road & New North Road.
It became quite a landmark! Before that, I operated Music Market, which concentrated more on new equipment, but my passion has always been with quality, quirky and vintage second-hand instruments and equipment. Hence, I decided to open up Bungalow Bills to specialise primarily in these areas.
After successfully operating for twelve years at the Symonds Street location, we moved just around the corner to the top of Khyber Pass Road, next to Cheap Skates and AS Colour on the corner. We have now moved just next door down the little lane, a great spot, 21a Khyber Pass Road. The shop is my favourite of all the shops I have had, sunny, very light, great feel and a nice place to be!
